A/PROF XUNYU LU

Dr. Xunyu Lu is a Scientia Associate Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW. He obtained his PhD degree at the School of Chemistry, UNSW Sydney in 2014. His research is mainly focused on the rational design and preparation of cost-effective and active catalysts for electrochemical energy conversion reactions; design and fabrication of energy devices based on novel catalyst materials and integration of energy devices with state-of-the-art photovoltaic cells to realize the production of renewable chemicals and fuels with high energy conversion efficiency, high selectivity, and low cost. Xunyu continues to work on a project in Theme 3 (Power-to-Gas) under the leadership of Scientia Professor Rose Amal.
